The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
